6\/13\/24 Update<\/span><\/p>

San Mateo<\/strong><\/p>

The San Mateo Police Department will be manning a DUI checkpoint from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. by Norfolk Street and Los Prados Street, aiming to curb impaired driving.<\/p>

Stanislaus County<\/strong><\/p>

he Stanislaus County Sheriff\u2019s Office announced it will be conducting a DUI and driver\u2019s license checkpoint on Friday.<\/p>

Officials said the checkpoint will be located \u201csomewhere within the county\u201d at an undisclosed time.<\/p>

\u201cThe Stanislaus County Sheriff\u2019s Office is prepared to stop and arrest any drunk driver they see to keep roads and community safe,\u201d the sheriff\u2019s office said in a press release. \u201cDeputies have received specialized training for driving under the influence (DUI), as well as driving under the influence of drugs (DUID), which will help them identify and remove persons under the influence from our roadways.\u201d<\/p>

Pasadena\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

Beginning on Friday, June 14, the Pasadena Police Department is to manage a driving under the influence (DUI) and driver\u2019s license checkpoint within Pasadena city limits at an undisclosed location.<\/p>

Showing incidents of impaired driving crashes, the DUI\/driver\u2019s license checkpoints will focus the locations based on available data and will promote public safety by removing suspected impaired drivers from the road.<\/p>

\u201cImpaired drivers put others on the road at significant risk. Any prevention measures that reduce the number of impaired drivers on our roads significantly improves traffic safety and can save lives,\u201d According to police spokesperson.<\/p>

Laguna Beach<\/strong><\/p>

The Laguna Beach Police Department will put on a driving under the influence (DUI) checkpoint this Friday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at an undisclosed location.<\/p>

Those charged with a first-time DUI face strict penalties, as well as a suspended license.<\/p>

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department wants to remind drivers to avoid operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Santee Sheriff’s Station has announced plans for a DUI checkpoint from 8:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. this Saturday, June 8. The exact location within the City of Santee remains undisclosed, strategically chosen based on areas with higher incidents of impaired drivers. The primary goal of these checkpoints is to enhance public safety by identifying and removing potentially impaired drivers from the roads.\u00a0<\/p>

Santa Barbra\u00a0<\/h3>

The Santa Barbara Police Department will conduct a DUI checkpoint on Saturday, June 8, 2024, within the city limits. Checkpoint locations are selected based on data indicating frequent impaired driving-related crashes. The main aim is to promote public safety by removing suspected impaired drivers from the streets.\u00a0<\/p>

Menifee\u00a0<\/h3>

The Menifee Police Department will set up a DUI\/Driver\u2019s License Checkpoint on June 8, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The specific location within Menifee city limits will not be disclosed.\u00a0<\/p>
